The UNFO-PLS ecological solution
It is well known that mosquitoes lay their eggs and proliferate in the presence of humidity and stagnant water, and the largest basin of this type at their complete disposal is the sewer system of our cities, connected to the surface through road drains protected by grates with the function of letting rainwater flow into the subsoil. UNFO-PLS is a special device that is very easy to install in the manholes beneath the drainage grates and which provides a physical and mechanical barrier to the ascent of adult mosquitoes towards the surface. A valve is integrated into the system which is activated only by the pressure applied by the rainwater that must flow away, while in drought situations the barrier remains sealed and prevents the rise not only of mosquitoes but also of other annoying presences such as cockroaches or rats.
